Title: ‘Until you wake up’

Prompt: Hamartia (tragic mistake)
Warnings: Angst, I guess.
Rating: Safe for anyone to read.
Summary: Fear and entrapment in your own head. Because where else can you hide?
I used the Hamartia prompt to write this story, because in my opinion lack of communication between people who are perfectly well equipped to communicate might lead to tragic mistakes. The question is, is it one person making the mistake, or more? Who’s guilty? Now you tell me where it all leads.

Summary: Part of the crew plays scrabble.
Additional notes: This could be considered as a part of Going back (orion prompt), but not necessarily so.

Seeing her brother’s look of confusion she added in her ‘you are such an idiot’ tone of voice, “It’s scrabble, Simon.” She rattled a small bag sewn out of one of Kaylee’s cleaning rags. “I made the tiles really pretty, too.”

AN: According to Wikipedia “The stars were associated with Osiris, the god of death and underworld, by the ancient Egyptians. The Giza pyramid complex, which consists of the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure, is said to be a sky-map of the Belt of Orion, that is, of Osiris.” This is why the prompt ‘orion’ turned into a Firefly fic :) Possibly a first part of something slightly longer.

AN: I'm not exactly proud of this fic, but it's been running around my head for a while now and the prompt 'castaway' just begged to be used here ;) (Plus, it's a Lost fic! The irony of that one just can't go amiss :P)
