Title: all the king's horses, and all the king's men
Fandom: Supernatural
Prompt: 143 – gossip; April Fable Challenge
Warnings: General spoilers from AHBL and Season 4 through On the Head of a Pin.
Rating: PG/PG-13-ish.
Word Count: 1200+
Summary: As soon as I read the prompt for the monthly challenge, the first thing that came to mind was Humpty Dumpty and how it kind of paralleled the whole Dean-going-to-Hell storyline of Supernatural. Strange, I know, but here it is. Complete with the inspired poetry I wrote to the same meter as the nursery rhyme – hopefully it works for the challenge. The poem, on it's own, can be found here.
Disclaimer: As I always, I own nothing. Also, two sections of dialogue are used verbatim from Lazarus Rising and On the Head of a Pin.
