Thank you for your comments. I think that given time and opportunity, Joyce and Spike would be very close. They both love Buffy and Dawn, both have an interest in culture and both have a strong sense of loyalty for those they love. I think she'd be a kind of big sister/mother to him and a close friend, at least in my world :) And Spike was always trying so hard to be bad ;) Thanks once again, much appreciated.
