Title: Waiting
Author: Artemis Rain
Fandom: Highlander, Doctor Who, Joan of Arcadia, reference to Heroes
Spoilers: for Highlander episodes “Comes a Horseman” and “Revelations 6:8”
Prompt: A Penny Saved is a Penny Laying Worthless in the Drawer
Warning: The usual: Crack, crack, crack. Also, some non-explicit slash.
Pairing: References to past Doctor/Methos. (see Always Time for more info)
Rating: K+
Feedback is welcomed with pathetically enthusiastic gratitude. I would really, really appreciate any concrit you could give me. I’m a big girl. I can take it.
Summary: 11th in the TCAFoYD series. Picks up right where Divergence left off. Methos, the Doctor and Grace regroup to contemplate their next move.
Previous Parts
A/N: Unfortunately, this is another last-minute effort, so I hope it satisfies. This part is half of the story I wanted to tell, since it ended up being a lot longer than I was expecting. So, it’s pretty heavy on exposition and introspection, and light on action. I just really wanted to tie up some loose ends, exposition-wise, and didn’t think it could wait. The next part will have more of the plotty stuff, I promise!
