Notes: I don't know why this came to mind when I saw the prompt "keeping score" but it did. I wish I could claim the idea was originally mine but I'm sure I've read something similar and it's what came to mind with the prompt. (Now if only I could remember if it was a fic or a book that I'd read to offer up credit for inspiration!) Either way, I hope you enjoy this - because despite the warning, I hope people don't find it sad!
