I really enjoy the human nature aspects of this story line, the approach-avoidance conflict they both seem to feel and, atypically, acknowledge within themselves if not to each other. And the humor is dosed at just the right proportions.
Also, who doesn't want to spread them both on toast and have them for breakfast? Even better if they're together!
