Firstly, thanks for reading :) I'm glad you enjoyed at least part of it :)
Secondly, I know Buddha isn't a god. It was a banter-y joke, like 'I am in shape. Round is a shape.'
Thirdly, I have a list of things that are wrong with this fic, if you'll indulge me?
-The art gallery would have been taken over by someone. It's a lucrative business, especially with Sunnydale propert prices being so low.
- Xander could easily have recreated the statue from photographs.
- One of the Scoobies would have insisted on being on protection detail while Xander was working.
- Andrew wouldnt have followed Spike on foot. He would have used magic and/or technology instead.
- Spike would have been able to hear Andrew's footsteps and be able to pick up his scent regardless of how quiet he was being.
- the Ares Borghese didn't have a shield. Typical representations of Ares do have the shield, but the Ares Borghese was a nude piece, identifiable as the god only by the ankle chain he wore.
- the characteristion of both Spike and Xander are off by quite a bit, psychologically speaking
- There's a galring misuse/misplacement of the word 'ain't', which would have been better replaced with 's'not'.
- The chances of Spike and Xander being able to use the backroom of the museum at night is highly unlikely.
- Presumably, Xander would have been using white light to observe Spike, thus eliminating the need for a flash on the camera. If the flash did go off, it wouldnt have been noticable given the lighting and the paleness of Spike's skin.

I think that's all of the things I had picked up on... There'd probably be more if I went back and read it again...
