in favor of fewer 'author's notes'

smwright.livejournal.comWhile the story for this week's prompt perks in the old brain, I've taken a little (ok - a fair amount of) time to put together two posts on my journal giving some history and canon on The Histories for those who are either confused by my posts or interested in the stories.
The first is just a very brief and very spoiler-light set of synopses for the trilogy. In fact, the third one doesn't even count as a synopsis, since it's only a brief paragraph. The other two are fairly complete (they're the backcover text from the first two books). I may augment the third one, but it won't be today, lol.
The second post is much longer and includes brief character info for basically anyone of importance in any of the three novels. There are links within each character's info to anyone else mentioned as well... so, sort of halfway cross-referenced but not completely. I've intentionally kept out some really spoiler material, but there's enough there to help cut down on confusion a whole lot.
I'll probably add a third post eventually (as mentioned in the second post), but it'll be a day or two... lots going on in the Weeks' household right now! Anyway, I hope this is somewhat helpful.
