I've had a really heavy week, so I haven't even started reading last week's stories yet. I will, though! I always do (except for Harry Potter fic - sorry c_woodhaven and strickens_girl but I have a squick about HP fic, because of the age thing, so I don't read any).

I'm off to do the shopping thing with my sister now. But I'll be back tomorrow - ready to read and comment. Honest!

Wow. Saturday afternoon came and I hadn't even fully decided what I was going to write. This is the nearest yet I've come to missing a week! Anyway, it's just a little ficlet. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to write the next TCAFoYD story.

Now I can move on to the other hundred and one things I need to do today!

Summary: One of the early meetings between Methos and the Doctor. As it stands, it doesn’t actually fit into the TCAFoYD series, but does incorporate some of the background of their relationship within the series.

A/N: This is how I imagine the Doctor and Methos getting to know one another, by running into each other time and again in different centuries and wondering how it is possible, since neither one has the other’s capabilities. They quickly find themselves intrigued by and attracted to each other. Each loving a good mystery, they don’t get it all solved at once, but learn a little more every time they meet.
