It is over 1,000 words so it qualifies under the majority decision of that poll. This will also have to count for me again this week, I’m still horrendously ill.

Background: This is an AU. Spike and Dru parted ways long ago, and this is Sunnydale the year before Buffy showed up.
Summary: Xander has an abusive home life. His only escape is in the form of a comic book called ‘William the Bloody Avenger’, featuring a leather-clad blonde superhero who rescues people from abusive situations. Then Xander sees his hero in the flesh, and is not sure what to do. This Chapter- Xander and Spike get closer, and Spike saves Xander from being attacked.

Yeah, okay, I know. I promised HSG, but this prompt...just...would NOT fit. *glares at prompt generator* I need something that'll really add a spark to the next chapter I have planned, not make it veer off in another direction while diverting your attention from the main plot.

Ergo, more Supernatural. Note, I haven't seen the episode Heart from season 2 yet, but I HAVE seen the final clip of it, so I know what happens. *sniffles*

And this has been something that I've been wondering about, so I found a way to make it fit. This gets rid of plot bunny 1 of 52 that I swear I have from just watching that show so far. *whimpers*
