Can you believe it? Week 66? (And week 67 is making my eyes cross with that prompt. Seriously, Bangkok? *boggles*)

You guys know the gist: 5 is below par, 7 is average, 9 is "This is a really good fic, like really really good" and 10 is a step beyond that. Like you want to follow the author to read what else they've written, or a single chapter was enough to make you want to read the rest.

Voting! )

Sorry for the non-fic post! I hope this is okay!

I'm planning on doing NaNoWriMo for the first time this year, and I know there are other participants in this comm. I was just wondering what you were planning to do about Taming the Muse in November (or if you've done NaNoWriMo before, what have you done in previous years?). Will you be posting excerpts from your novels in place of fics? I'm thinking of doing this, but I'm concerned that my excerpts won't meet the standards of quality for the comm. It shouldn't be a problem to work the prompts into my chapters, but I definitely won't have much time to edit.

Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences? Wisdom to impart?
