Summary: What if Aida had not been the one surprised by the river?
Notes: A What If Aida AU story, hopefully to be continued. I put this in the Elton John version of Egypt and Nubia, which bear little to no resemblence to the real Egypt and Nubia, and so I'm making stuff up as I go along. Just so people don't think I'm not aware that this is not really what ancient villages were like.
Aida made very sure not to let her boredom show on her face as the healer detailed what remedies she had left and what would need to be gathered on the next expedition outside of the village walls.
