Hi, I've been feeling the fatigue lately with doing taming. I think some of us have who are long time members. I was wondering when we'll come to the next 'banners.' I thought if I knew when that was, I could hold on for that at least. :P

Thanks!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know about this.

You've heard of Nanowrimo, 1667 words in 30 days to produce a 50,000 word novel, and a piece of your day is set aside so your fingers can fly like the wind. Ever wanted something longer? More of a challenge? Just wanted to write more than one month?

Now's your chance with [livejournal.com profile] springwrite!

The goal is 150,000 words at the end of 4 months which works out to be 1250 words a day. This is a continuation in the [livejournal.com profile] seasonwrite series so if you've been part of [livejournal.com profile] autumnwrite or [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite we would love to have you here as well, and if not please come join the fun! ;) It doesn't matter what you work on either. A novel, multiple short pieces, multiple series, etc. Whatever you want. As long as you're writing every day, that's all we're after. Also you don't have to hit the daily quota either. Every word counts so don't be afraid to join because you don't think you can write "that much." You'd be surprised what you can accomplish. I know we have been. ;) :D

We have in the works banners and awards for highest monthly individual word count, team count, overall highest individual and team word count, most active team and a team work award, all of which are outlined in the awards post. Also there will be participation and quota banners for each month so if you like to collect the "shinies" we try to offer something for everyone. ;)

The number of teams will be set on December 30th, but any one who stumbles onto [livejournal.com profile] autumnwrite after the start date will be placed on a team or may join as an individual if they want.

This was all inspired by [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite with sister comm [livejournal.com profile] autumnwrite which is just finishing up. \0/

If you're interested, hurry and sign up before December 30th if you can, but people are welcome to join at any point!

The FAQ's here.

The Sign Up post is here.

The list of offered awards is here

Feel free to pimp this everywhere!

Title: Pool Hall Ornaments (Chapters 1-3)
Author: tigerstriped86
Fandom/Pairing: CSI, Nick/Greg
Rating: PG-13 (for light corpse discussion and the m/m relationship which is the focus of my CSIshipping)

Prompt 127: Apathy (Chapter 3)
Month Prompt: Holiday

Disc.: If I owned anything from CSI, don't you think I would have given Nick and Greg the greenlight already?  And Catherine probably would have ended up with the not-dead Warrick.  I'm just saying.

Summary: In response to my newfound lust for Nick and Greg (more Nick than Greg, but only because we're so much alike) is the sequel to Billiard Hall Junkies.  This holiday-themed almost finished piece mixes together some yummy men, the holidays, and a bit of a murder mystery.  Enjoy now!

*I know it's not done, but I wanted to submit it just in case I got snowed in from the Seattle blizzards of O8.  You never know*
