Chapter Twenty-Four.
[identity profile] tigerstriped86.livejournal.com
Title: Turning and Burning: Chapter 24
Author: tigerstriped86
Fandom/Pairing: BtVS, X/A overall, Willow/Tara
Rating: PG-13 (for ominous signs, magick overtones, and the butchering of the Buffyverse by my hands)

Prompt 142: Flummox
Disc.: Owned by various characters, Joss Whedon, the good folks of Sunnydale, Dark Horse (who aren't making an "8th" season, who are they kidding?), Mutant Enemy (grrr...arggh), and the standing tribute to various Buffy characters that stare out at me while I sleep.

Author's Note: You may be, like me, saying, "Are we there yet?".  I do promise that the end is in sight.  Is it near?  Let's just say that I thought this chapter would contain most of next chapter as well.  However, I don't intend to go to thirty.  It's those muses, again, wanting to say their peace.  Sometimes I just feel like the guy trying to keep the apple cart from tipping.

Overall: Xander runs from Anya at the altar towards Angel instead of just away.  Let's see how things changes pretty much everything.
This chapter: Charlie knows he'll never see Xander again.  But that's a choice he makes.  Willow and Tara discuss something that changes the dynamic of their relationship.

Title: F.B.I-Smell-a-Fake Part 6
Prompt: 142, Flummox
Characters/Pairing: Gen - Sam, Dean, Shawn, Gus
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: No real spoilers for either series
Summary: Sam and Gus are only temporarily flummoxed by the case (aka Gus finds a clue)
Notes: Wow end of the semester is good for getting in the way of writing! Sorry for being so long, but only one chapter left, and I'll try to be faster with that.

Part One, Part Two, Part Three, Part Four, Part Five

It wasn’t until the door slammed and he heard the rumble of a car driving away that Gus realized that this development left him alone in the office with a man who, until that morning, he’d thought was a fed-impersonating killer.
