"You haven't forgotten about the ceramic workshop next week," asked Agathe nonchalantly as she placed Anna's cup of coffee in front of her.

"What," replied Anna her brain still half asleep.

"Ceramic workshop, remember?"

"Oh yes... ceramix workshop...," replied Agathe trying to pretend she had remembered. "Can you... remind me why we're going?"

Anna laughed. "Of course I can. We're going because it's going to be fun."

Agathe nodded in response, bringing her cup of coffee to her lips.

"And I promise no one will get burned," added Agathe cheekily.

Anna raised her head and smirk, remembering the first time Agathe had showed her the old oven of her father. It had been so long ago but Anna could still remember the look of alarm in Agathe's eyes and how she had kissed her for the first time in that life shortly after.

"I'm not sure I would mind getting slightly burned if it ends up like the first time."

Agathe laughed. She stood up and went to kiss Anna's cheek gently. "No need to get burned to get undressed anymore."

Anna smiled and took another sip of her coffee.

Anna and Agathe walked into the ceramic workshop. Anna still wasn't sure why they had come. They knew how to make ceramics, they had learned hundreds of ago. It was true that Anna had mostly forgotten how the entire process worked but she wasn't all that interested in learning again. But Agathe was and that was enough for her to come.

She looked around as Agathe was listening avidly to the teacher. It looked completely different nowadays. The room was distinctively modern in spite of the ceramic piled up against the back wall. The oven was not even an original one, it used electricity and the process could be much quicker.

The smell of clay was the same. It was still like the earth after a warm spring rain. Anna closed her eyes as her hand unconsciously went to the clay in front of her, her heands pluging into the soft wet matter.

"I knew you would like it," breathed Agathe in her ear. Anna jumped, surprised at feeling Agathe's breath so close to her. She had not expected her to be so close or even to be paying any attention to her.

"Thanks," she mouthed.

Agathe smiled and returned her attention to the teacher, leaving Anna to her reminiscences.

As Agathe finished locking the door of their home, Anna spinned her round and trapped her against the wall, her body shielding any escape.

"I think you deserve a kiss now."

"I think so too," replied Agathe cheekily. "That was a good plan, wasn't it."

"It was. I didn't think I would have missed it." She leaned closer her lips brushing Agathe's ones.

"Remembering isn't always bad." Agathe replied before closing the last gap between them.
