That was a long and complex chapter and my first view of the lions was fascinating. So they are sentient machines, so I imagine flying them is a little like riding a horse? (Or maybe a dolphin, since dolphins are more intelligent than horses? *g*) I look forward to learning more about them. And the final bit, with the exchange of confidences, that was very interesting. I have felt for a while that there was more going on with KaLee than met the eye, but I hope we learn more, as the story continues to develop. Well done. And nice to see some more of your action sequences.
