Summary: Dawn goes to LA after Chosen. In this chapter a second attempt at re-corporealizing Spike

Author’s note: Hey I'm back finally, had to get RL under control again but I've made time for my writing again. 
I am not good at dialogue that explains the lack of it in the story. I am still looking for a beta and seeing that I’m trying to stick with tamingthemuse so I need someone who can read a short story every week. I’m hoping to have it finished by Wednesday evening to send off for my beta if anyone’s interested that would be great. 
This chapter should have at least 3 parts maybe more but It keeps getting longer and longer than i thought as I write.

Set after Chapter 4 and before the Angel Episode Life of the Party

 

 

Dawn’s POV

 

I get up and prepare to visit Wolfram and Hart for the first time ever. I do not know how to feel about this the hub of evil has invited me into their home office. I can’t put this off anymore I have to go downtown and help Wolfram and Hart get Spike back. I can’t believe that Spike is back but what I really can’t believe is that Wesley didn’t tell me about it earlier. I’m unsure how to react to Spike on one hand I still am his Niblet but I’ve grown so much since the last time. At that time I still thought I could blame him for the way Buffy was acting but I know that they were in a relationship of some sort though I’m not sure a relationship is what I would’ve called it. I knew the day that she turned invisible that something was wrong, also she talks in her sleep and that was a dead give away.

 

Wesley’s POV

 

I’m nervous about seeing Dawn I’ve never been this nervous in my life not even when I walked into Sunnydale High for the first time and I was about to come face to face with two Slayers who really didn’t want to see me. I told Fred first about what we were trying to do. It only seemed fair because she’s the one who will have to make it work. She seems excited by the idea but she’s nervous too because she’s not sure if the parts will stand up to that much power. I think that with the resources we have at our disposal we should be able to get some new parts that will work in case the ones we have give out. She’s going to go see Angel and bug him until he gets her what she needs. He’s been enamoured with her ever since he rescued her and she looked at him and said “Handsome man, saved me from the monsters” I wonder why I never saw it before, he’s in love with her.

 

Dawn’s POV

 

I walk out of the elevator onto the enormous sun filled floor that has Angel’s office. I turn to my right and who do I see but that sleazy Harmony who kidnapped me back in Sunnydale. I walk right past her as she chases me towards Angel’s office.

“You can’t go in there he’s in a meeting.” Harmony says not realising who she’s talking to.

“I think I can and just because you work for him now doesn’t mean I’ll forget that you tried to kill me.” I said as I turned towards her.

“Oh Dawn hi, I’m good now so please don’t stake me.” Harmony replies nervously looking around for someone who will tell Dawn that she’s not allowed to threaten the employees.

I just look at her and turn and push myself through the door into Angel’s office.
