Title: Breaking in the Toy
Fandom: Original
Prompt: #82 Utopia
Warnings: Slash and master/slave dynamic.
Rating: R, to be safe.
Summary: Spoiler for my story This Path. Main character Nolyn get's captured by a demon and suffers. One man's Utopia is another's prison.

The demon entered the darkened room, frowning at the lack of light. Snapping his fingers produced tiny flames on the many lamps scattered about the room. Sharp green eyes searched the room until they landed on the object of their desire.
There, sitting on the floor on the far said of the bed, with only the top of his head visible, was Nolyn. Smiling, the demon approached the bed, his footfalls silent. Lounging softly on the lush bed, the demon reached out and tangled his claws in the black hair. Smoothly, the soft strands drifted through his fingers, and the boy didn’t move a muscle.
His smile becoming tight, Mogi Ren fisted the hand in the boy’s hair and brought his other hand to trace his jaw line. “You anger me, little human,” he whispered, lips close to Nolyn’s ear. He pressed wet kisses to his jaw, eyes watching intently for any reaction.
The human continued to sit, silent, not moving, not reacting to the pain he must be feeling from his scalp. The sea foam green eyes were still empty and staring out at the wall, seeing nothing. Mogi Ren pulled a bit more on his hair, pulling his head up at a sharp angle. “Do you not realize your position?” He turned the boy’s face toward him. “You are mine,” he said with a wicked smile. “And as such, you want me.”
He rubbed his thumb over Nolyn’s full bottom lip. “True, you may hate me. In fact, I like that you hate me. But, in the end, you want me.” Another kiss was pressed to his cheek. “You can’t help it. Everything that belongs to me wants me. It’s all part of my spell. All part of being me.” He chuckled.
He removed his grip from Nolyn’s hair and face only to replace it under his shoulders to pull him onto the bed. Given Nolyn’s slim weight, and the demon’s extraordinary strength, it was an easy task, making Nolyn join him on the bed.
Nolyn sat beside the demon, still ignoring his presence and showing no sign of life. The demon reached out and cupped his hands around Nolyn’s chin, bringing their lips together. He licked the seam of his lips before digging his teeth into his bottom lip. Glancing at his eyes, Mogi Ren frowned to see there was still no reaction.
Angered, he pushed Nolyn forcefully onto his back, kneeling above him. He captured his hands above his head, distantly realizing that it was pointless, as how the boy refused to struggle. Staring into the empty gaze, he felt his rage building by the second. It was no fun if the prey didn’t react. It was no fun if the boy wouldn’t play the game correctly.
Sharply, he bit into Nolyn’s lip, drawing blood this time. Licking the seeping wound, he decided it was time to break him. He pulled away, moving his grip to the open shirt collar at Nolyn’s neck. He lifted the boy from the bed, smirking at him.
“Yes, it’s time I showed you how much you really want me.” In one smooth movement, he stood from the bed, pulling Nolyn up with him. Nolyn stumbled a moment, catching his balance when Mogi Ren released him to pull a necklace off from around his neck. He slipped the thin gold chain around Nolyn’s neck, letting the heavy pendant settle on his chest. For a second, the demon stared at the disk, glittering in the candle’s light before raising his gaze to the vacant eyes before him.
He grabbed Nolyn by the back of his neck, propelling him forward as they left the room. By stepping through the threshold, they were teleported somewhere else. They were suddenly outside, clear skies and a field of grass surrounding them. With an arm around Nolyn’s shoulders, Mogi Ren looked about him, a smile playing about his lips still. “Do you know where we are? Do you feel it?”
He turned to Nolyn, pulling the shorter body close to his, running his hands down his arms and touching his nose to the other’s. “This is the border to my territory. Beyond this field, my perfect world ends and another demon rules.” His hand found the pendant he had put around Nolyn’s neck. “And this . . . This is proof of my rule.” He lifted it to Nolyn’s view, vauge as it was. “If I leave my lands without this, without being connected in some way, another demon may take the chance to enter and take over.”
He dropped the pendant and glanced around them at the field. “Now look there. They’ve come already.” Around the duo, small animals and lesser demons had taken to appearing from the tall grasses and from behind trees. Unblinking eyes were focused upon Mogi Ren as muscles twitched in effort to keep still. The air was thick with their distress. A grin split his face as he took a step away from Nolyn, away from his symbol of ownership.
A bird swooped down to perch on his shoulder and take a strand of his hair in its beak, eager for any hold on its lord demon. Chuckling, he turned his eyes to the motionless Nolyn. “You see, everything in my lands loves me. They want me to stay and be their lord. They can’t stand to see me leave. You can’t stand to see me leave.”
He stared to walk backwards, further and further away from his pendant as more and more creatures appeared and attached themselves to him. “It’s all part of my perfect world. Nothing here hates me. There is nothing here that does not want me. And, I’m afraid, that includes you, my dear Nolyn.”
He took another step back, hindered now by the multitude of bodies tying to hold him away from the border. His eyes stayed on Nolyn, his smile slipping only a bit as the boy still refused to move.
Another step, and he got a reaction. Minute, but a reaction. Nolyn’s clinched his eyes closed. Mogi Ren’s smile returned in full force. “Every creature here belongs to me. Every creature here knows this and, in return, wants me to remain here. Hate me or not, you, too, want me to remain. Fight it as you will, but you are mine.” Another step.
Nolyn’s hands folded into fists at his side and he bit his lip, fighting against his body’s urge to go to the demon and stop him from leaving him. To clutch him close and never let go. He wouldn’t do it. He refused to let this happen to him.
Suddenly, from the tall grass surrounding them, appeared a large cat, yellow eyes centered upon the demon. Mogi Ren froze in his movements, returning the stare, glaring. The cat could easily out weigh him, easily foil his plans. “Back off,” he ordered the cat as he took another step. The cat followed his movements, one large paw at a time. A low sound came from the cat’s throat, a type of purr that reached Mogi Ren, vibrating the very ground they stood on.
He laughed. “You see. Even if I order my creatures to leave me be, they cannot. Everything here wants me to remain here.” Daringly, he took another step. His eyes shot from Nolyn to the cat. Step for step, the cat matched him, steady and intent.
Nolyn’s head dropped as tears threatened to overflow. Against his will, his body wanted to go to Mogi Ren, wanted to hold him. Sweat beaded on his brow with the effort to restrain himself.
Another step and Nolyn jerked forward to match the step. Mogi Ren’s laugh filled the air as he held out his hands to Nolyn. “Come, prove my magic strong. You want me. You want me to remain your master.”
Shaking in futile anger, Nolyn refused to move, refused to lift his head. Tauntingly, Mogi Ren took another step back. Breaking out with a sob, Nolyn took a step forward and fell to his knees. Broken, he cried out, fists hitting the earth as Mogi Ren’s mocking laughter reached him. His tears dropped to the ground, soaking in and shaming him with their existence. He’d proven Mogi Ren right. His body had soaked in the demon’s magic for six years and now it was addicted to it.
But, it seemed that the demon wasn’t done tormenting him yet. He took another step, matched by the cat. He held up a hand, a trace of magic spiraling to the cat to hold it away from him. The cat froze, but Nolyn could not. On hands and knees, he crawled to the demon, his face red from tears and shame.
Once he reached the demon, he reached out and fisted his hands in the silk of Mogi Ren’s trousers, burying his face in the cloth. Into the cloth, he sobbed his agony before wrapping his arms around his leg, hugging him close.
Mogi Ren reached down and pulled Nolyn to his feet. He smoothing the boy’s hair from his wet face, laugher still coming from his chest. He pulled the necklace from Nolyn and replaced it about his neck.
Instantly, the tension left the air as the creatures around them relaxed now that the danger had passed. Some birds flittered away into the trees while others detached themselves from the demon’s body only to lay at his feet. The cat sat, eyes closed as it groomed itself.
He took Nolyn’s face in his hands again. “You see, even you can’t deny me my perfect world. Pretend all you want, but you belong to me.”
Nolyn refused to look at the demon, his eyes turned down. Hissing, Mogi Ren struck out, backhanding Nolyn. The human fell back with the force of the blow he didn’t try to dodge. Mogi Ren came forward again to sooth the angry red mark on Nolyn’s face. “You see what you cause me to do? You shouldn’t anger me, little human, you’re too precious. I would be most disappointed if you caused me to harm you. You know now, that you are mine. You shouldn’t fight me still.”
Holding Nolyn as he was, he could feel the minute shivers that coursed the thin frame. Other than that, the human had reverted back to his lifeless shell. Seething with anger, he pulled Nolyn upright by his hair. “You will not deny me this,” he shouted. He shoved him away from him, and, as Nolyn fell back, he was teleported back to his prison. He landed on the floor, alone behind the locked door.
Breathing carefully around his throbbing lip and nose, Nolyn focused his gaze on the door. He had to find a way to escape the demon.
