This is me, a week late, but catching up. You have a lovely voice here - Passengers were just talkative cargo. *laughs* That is so Mal. And - War had shown him how to lose people, good people. But these were his people. War hadn't prepared him for that. That distinction is so important to how Mal thinks. Once they're crew... Seems like his compass is still set to trouble, but there was a softening in her at the end of the film, so he does have hope. *g* Hey, Mal, here's hoping, for you. Thank you, I enjoyed this.
