Happy 100, TtM!
It's really great to participate in the 100th prompt at tamingthemuse. Even though I haven't been through all 100 of those prompts with the rest of you, and some may not think much of me at all, I still tip my hat to all of you. Right now, this night may not be incredibly significant in the grand scheme, but to those who care and make it something significant, it'll bring an indescribable little buzz of pride to know that you've written for 100 consecutive weeks (or are on your way there). 100 weeks is freaking amazing. So here's to all of us who appreciate this moment, and to that awesome little feeling that unites us all as the happy, prolific freaks writers that we are.
In honor of this occasion, I've decided to release this story I've been sitting on for a while, which fits to prompt #22 - squander. I haven't wanted to let go of it until it was completely finished, but progress has been scarce and no one reads my work on LJ anyway. Feedback and constructive criticism would be very much appreciated.

Summary: In a post-apocalyptic world, Spike and Illyria have joined forces to bring imperial order to the chaotic territory that used to be Europe. Over a hundred years have passed, and needless to say, things have changed. Names have changed. Appearances have changed. A few things still stay the same. Now Spike - or Guil as he's been dubbed - is needed to help a small village that is in big trouble.
