Just a note about this week's absence (I'm tired, so I have no idea if that's spelled correctly)

I had a great start on a Booth/Brennan (FOX's Bones series) piece for the "cuisine" prompt, but the account for which I type has been backlogged all week; therefore, I was asked to work extra hours whenever possible, and since that's always a good way both to make money and to make yourself look good, I did. Besides, I find my work very satisfying.

I will be finishing the piece, but I obviously can't post it here. Still, when I post it in the places I normally post Bones fics, I will be crediting this community for prompt #103 "cuisine" and perhaps getting it some new members. :-)
I know I joined after seeing its prompts mentioned on so many of my favorite authors' works! (Not that I'd ever be anyone's favorite author. PUH-HUH! *choke, gasp, wheeze*)

Anyway, just thought I'd let y'all know what's goin' on with me. Now that I'm an "employee" and no longer an independent contractor, I no longer have my choice of scheduled shifts and therefore find myself with much less online and/or writing time and much more "ah. bed. yes." time. My back cannot take sitting in a chair for 4 hours at a time, nor can my knees, heels, and toes take running the pedal for that long. Good thing I enjoy the work itself!
