Previously in Revenge Can Be Sweet:
Buffy and Xander go onto the back porch to talk, and wind up talking with lips more than words. Willow and Spike talk a bit in the kitchen and get a little closer, and Giles and Anya return for something forgotten. Dawn, in the midst of this, comes back downstairs and spies Buffy and Xander outside kissing. All rush to the window to see, and in the process of hissed exclamations and told-you-so's, Dawn lets the cat out of the bag unintentionally.
