It had been a long time since he had visited establishments of this nature but it was his night and he had chosen it for a specific purpose. It had been years but he hadn’t forgotten, the people, their faces, the pain that lingered in the air fighting with the arousal.

Clark’s dark head bowed as he edged closer to him and though his body was tight with uneasiness he didn’t say a word.

He had listened.

He was obeying.

Good.

Lex had been wondering if he would. If Clark would let go of enough of his pride to play this game with him. The fact that he wasn’t saying anything about the exposed bodies and the moans that could be heard all around was encouraging.

No one even blinked as Lex Luthor past by them with a tall dark haired boy by his side. He had chosen this place because of its discretion and because the money he had meant no one hear would dare say a word about seeing him.

He slipped into one of the hallways Clark trailing behind him and came to stand in front of a door.

He turned to look at Clark letting a small smile curve his lips for a brief moment “You don’t have to do this Clark, I admire your willingness to please me. We can leave if you like.”

Clark licked his lips white teeth coming out to bit the bottom one “I want to stay.”

Lex smiled.

Clark shivered.

The room was small. It was only large enough to suit its purpose and Clark’s eye caught the chains on the wall. He shivered and Lex’s hand was low on his back, slipping under the material of his t-shirt to touch the warm bare skin there.

“Take off all your clothes.” Lex bit out sharply his lips touching Clark’s ear and the younger man shivered again as he started to undo the buttons on his shirt one by one. Lex smoothed his hands down Clark’s sides pulling apart the shirt was each part came loose until it feel to the floor. Clark turned around closing his eyes as he felt Lex’s able fingers undoing the button on his jeans.

It didn’t matter how strong he was. Tonight wasn’t about his strength. It was about his weakness. His ability to be weak, for Lex.

He stepped out of his pants and boxers and stood in the middle of the room completely nude. Lex’s eyes were on Clark, traveling the expanse of his body and he moved to stand in front of Clark setting down the box he had been carrying on a small table. “You said you trusted me Clark.” Lex said softly as he opened the lid and pulled out a specially crafted pair of handcuffs. Clark flinched as Lex got closer and sweat beaded on his forehead.

“Lift up your arms.”

Clark swallowed thickly and did as he was told as Lex secured the meteor laced cuffs to his wrist and secured it on the hook above.

“You trust me right?” Lex whispered in his ear as he reached for something else in the box.

Clark closed his eyes his voice low “Yes.”

“Good.” pain shot through Clark as something burned along his back and Lex twisted his hand in the whip he held a faint green glow coming from the meteor rock embedded throughout it. “You only have one weakness Clark. I am sorry for exploiting it but you have to learn a lesson. You lied to me.”

Clark gritted his teeth together holding back a cry as his back burned from the meteor rocks welts welling up on skin that had always been invulnerable. Tears slipped down his checks as Lex continued the punishment and Clark took it.

Because he had lied, for years he had lied to Lex at every turn he got when he knew Lex would have accepted the truth. Lex would have accepted him. Still. Lex hadn’t found out about Clark’s origins from him. He had been told by someone else.

“Clark,” Lex pulled the whip forward again this time letting it rest softly against Clark’s skin as he moved it over bloodied shoulder blades “do you love me?”

“Yes.”

“Are you sorry?” Lex’s breath was hot in his ear.

“Yes.”

“That’s all I wanted to know.” and Lex put up the whip and with a quick flick undid the clasp on the handcuffs. Clark feel heavily to the ground his breathing ragged as Lex put the handcuffs back in the lead box by the whip. He closed it and Clark breathed easier.

Lex watched fascinated as the ragged lines he had caught in Clark’s back healed before his eyes and the pale, sweaty skin took on its usual golden color. He hadn’t enjoyed hurting Clark, hadn’t wanted to see him in pain. He had needed to though, and Clark had needed him to.

For years all that had existed between them was lies and they had needed to find a way to cleanse that. To start again, better this time. With nothing but honesty.

Lex crouched down beside Clark his hand warm on his now unmarred back and he leaned forward to press his lips against the side of Clark’s neck “Are we okay?” he asked softly. They both had needed this but he was worried he had pushed Clark too fast too soon. All the pain and mistrust between them couldn’t be solved overnight.

For years they had fought both with the intent to hurt the other as much as possible. To make sure that the other suffered just as much as they were. It had taken Martha to break the vicious battle between the two of them. Because she knew either Lex would kill Clark or Clark would kill Lex and it would destroy him.

She had told Lex the truth about Clark, she had told him everything, and she had trusted him to be the man that Clark had once thought he was. To be the man they knew he could always be.

And he was.

Clark looked up at him a smile tugging on his lips “Yeah, I’m okay. But next time I pick the game.”

Lex smiled his arm slipping under Clark’s and around his waist as the younger boy got up. “Deal.” He smirked looking Clark up and down “Though it would be a shame to waste this room while he have it.”

So, this is the first ever clark/lex fic that I have read. I found it interesting, the character descriptions dead on.

I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
