Yes, I am teasing you guys: there's something more that Spike needs to explain and that Fred needs to understand. Little things I've theorized about from just watching the show are going to be made manifest here.
I'm very glad you like my Spike; I've missed writing him. When I wrote him for the wergeld piece, he was more canon, but I didn't like him. I fought my muse tooth and nail on that one, but she refused, so I caved. I like my Spike fluffy and protective with teeth baring at enemies. *nods firmly*
