Prompt 139: Bemused; March Simile challenge (as mad as a march hare)
The premise: Traci is not the same as the rest of the village. Has this led her on a better path or has she just hit too close to the sun that burns the arid desert?
A/N: My three characters: Jericho Chase, Traci, and Edwin are all pieces of a larger novel (but made into one-shots for the challenges, natch) I'm trying to piece together so pardon if the characters run together in the continuing months. My brain is a continual cycle of neverendom. Also, I really liked the Feb. challenge icon, but the uploader on lj is messing with me (yet again), so hopefully I'll have it figured out by April.
