That wasn't very helpful for someone with Asperger syndrome. I had to hunt all over the web for a definition because this is an archaic term. I finally found, "a response to an apology, usually attacking the person who apologized." Please make definitions of rare promps less vague in the future because there are members with disabilities in the community.

First, I am truly sorry it was hard to find another definition. The more rare terms can be more difficult to find, which is why Piksa figured she would help members out, and went to a bit of extra trouble to find the link she gave. She certainly was not intending to slight anyone: in fact, she was only attempting to help others, as she didn't have to even do that. She could have left authors to do a quick Google and find for themselves what the word meant, but went the extra mile instead and provided a link. She also probably assumed that if members did not like the link she gave, that they would go find another link. From just a quick Google I did now, I found several links on the first page that defined what it meant. (And one, curiously enough, that was a response from our community! lol)

None of us meant to slight you in the slightest sweetie. The link she provided was for a kindness to the authors, not a necessary thing she had to do. I am sorry the link wasn't able to help you, and that you were able to find a link that better helped you elsewhere. ^_^
