Title: Snow Fall

Author’s note: this doesn’t really have a plot, per se. It’s a rather flimsy beast, really. Produced for the prompt “woolly” at tamingthemuse.
As Serenity docked in Precipitation Heights, snow was falling thickly outside, as it did for nine months of the year on Ice Fall. During the other three months it rained. Most of the outer planets were warm, even hot, bearing the climate of Earth that Was’ Wild West. Perhaps some private joke of the terraformers. But on Ice Fall, the planet was too far from the sun, and too poor for expensive technology to change the climate. Still, it was a busy planet; the snow tended to smother signals, making it a good base for smuggling.
