Posting early because I'm off to Chicago for my first ever Salute to Supernatural Convention! So excited, can't wait 'til Sunday!!
Title: Never Too Late [1/5]
Fandom: Supernatural Prompt: 173 - predatory
Warnings: Spoilers specifically for Pilot and Jump the Shark, general spoilers up through the end of Season Two. AU after Season Two.
Rating: PG, maybe PG-13 for this part.
Word Count: ~1400
Summary: Dean takes Adam on a hunt but forces his youngest brother to stay in the car while he goes off into the woods. Adam gets worried when Dean takes much longer than he should and goes after him, finding Dean nearly unconscious and under the claws of a huge, terrifying creature.
Disclaimer: As always, I own nothing.
A/N: The set-up here is that Sam's back at Stanford, think grad school or working on that law degree, after he and Dean killed Azazel. Dean's been hunting on his own until he receives a call from Adam on John's cell. Dean takes Adam in, but is struggling with the decision, not wanting his brother to have the same life he and Sam were forced into. Also, title taken from the Three Days Grace song.
