Okay... the week is up, and it's time for yet another wonderful prompt from the prompt generator. And boy am I sorry now that I put so many weird things in there, but this comes from a list of literature terms I dumped in. In case you haven't figured it out, I pretty much dumped any and all lists of words I could find into this sucker. So, for this week the prompt is

Hamartia

Hee, we've talked this to death the past few years in my english classes. *rubs hands together happily* And I know the perfect character for this. ^.^

Just a note, that last link you provided doesn't work. I keep getting directed to a page not found site.

Didn't I just write this?

You know who would really fit this...now how on earth do I fit the Jeffy and his tragic flaws in ONE fic????

This describes my entire series!

Any other week, any other story, and I would flounder. It astonishes me that hamartia is actually the theme for this week's story.

How effing unreal is that?

*does happy dance*

Seriously, if this prompt had come a week earlier or later, I'd be screwed. I just lucked out.

OMG! Haha, I'm glad I have an AU story to fall back on. O_O

Hehe, there have been some wild ones but that...!

Actually it works really well with Longing and Angel's tragic flaw. Not unlike the Trojan War, really. That story so far is a really good fall back place for Taming. Now we'll see if I can actually *write* it, of course.

You're trying to kill us, aren't you?

I think, based on the second definition, I can use this one in my HSG. I really think I can; it'd fit well if I'm understanding this right.

Hee! Wow, what a coincidence! That's just what I wanted to emphasize in my next story!

So, is it still considered a tragic flaw if the character survives to grow into a better person?

Next week is going to be terrible RL wise and I was hoping for an easy prompt. And then you give us this! Oh well, I guess I know what I will be doing all my free time *g* At least I'm staying in the country this week unlike last week...

Although I did have this nice dream last night. I might be able to come up with something...

I'm hoping it too. I'm just having trouble coming up with a tragic flaw. I keep thinking about funny things and I don't really know if they can be counted as tragic. They are more tragic comedy. Don't know if that fits.

hmmm, just come back from a long weekend away in which I overindulged a bit - resolution was to abstain from the demon drink this week. Logged on - saw this - went for glass of wine!!!

Don't worry, the driving was from "a" to the very next little bit of "a" - it doesn't take much.

Actually, during said glass of wine, I had an epiphany about how it might work in Perceptions - goes off for second glass of wine to work it through....
