What I very badly want to know is, if I can go back and re-write something that was badly written. (I'm staring at my Alkaline entry here.)

If you are rewriting, actually rewriting the entry, go ahead. That means in some ways it will be a different fic. If you're just slapping the new prompt in.....iffy subject. We have let it go by before but the whole idea of the comm is to write something new.

Not this prompt, but probably another. That entry was badly written, by my standards. No way I'd let that fic stand. Complete overhaul, except for the plotline that relies on the word alkaline.
