Okay, I'm making this by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin.  This is a chapter out of my Sentinel "Guidelines" series.

Jim and Blair work together as Sentinel and Guide in a world that knows about both, but the guys are working outside the system, a government agency known as the United States Sentinel Program (USSP).
