Hello again fellow Tamers! This week the generator has given us a new prompt to write about:
Now hatred is by far the longest pleasure
I'm not sure where it gets these prompts some days!
Have fun!
As always, comments and questions welcomed.

Date: 2010-05-30 04:45 am (UTC)I actually rather like this prompt. Even if it doesn't fit in with anything that I'm writing. Although Angelus... *contemplates*

Date: 2010-06-01 01:26 am (UTC)Also, I wanted to see about my tag. I've posted for two weeks now, but it's still not set up yet. I don't want to get too many weeks in before the tagging beings, so I thought I'd mention it. :)

I was so intrigued by the quote I looked it up and, damn!, that's an awesome quote. *off to read Byron*

Date: 2010-06-03 05:39 am (UTC)How?
Date: 2010-07-23 07:12 pm (UTC)1. How do you navigate this community?
2. How do you post a story to it?
There are some other questions, but they all pretty much tie in to question #1.
Re: How?
Date: 2010-07-23 08:23 pm (UTC)To navigate the comm you use the navigation links at the sides. There's a link for the prompt post, which will have the latest at the top. There's link for mod posts, wich inclued the prompts, monthly challenges, awards and the like. Below that there's the actual 'navigation' post. It leads to prompts new and old since there isn't room for them all to be listed (we've been gong for four years!).
Each week a new prompt goes up (late Sat early Sun) and at approx 7am EST the previous prompt closes and no more submissions are welcomed.
So, you have week to write at least 500 words. Now, you don't have the use the prompt exactly as it it. We are very open to interpretation. You the word/phrase/picture, use the idea, make a vague reference; it's all up to you.
As for posting, once your story is finished, beta'd if you can (I know I generally don't o.O) post either the piece under a cut, with the prompt tag, full header included please, or a link to it somewhere else (your site, your lj, at AO3, etc). The subject line for when you post to the comm should included the prompt number, name, your name and the title of the story. The fandom would be nice too if you can manage it.
After your first post you will recieve a tag to be used and you'll post that along with the prompt tag.
Hope that helps. Any other questions feel free to check out the "Contact the Mods" link on the main page.
