Authors Note- This is the first of a seven part series set during and after the cancer!arc. It was written ages ago but I never got around to posting it. I'm not sure if I'll post the rest of the series; this chapter works well as a stand alone and the other chapters veer wildly away from canon. So at the moment it's a oneshot but I may eventually polish off and post the rest of this series. And SQUEE this is the first QaF fic I've posted!!
