For those really paying attention, the patterns in the randomizer are probably starting to come clear. After all, I pulled lists of things from wherever I could find them. Three different prompts have come from the list of Latin phrases, two came from science terms, two came from mangled sayings, and now we have our second from the "city" list (the first was Mecca back on week six). Maybe it's just me (Americans aren't taught much geography in school), but I had to look this one up.  I'm also completely screwed because it doesn't fit either of my current WIPs.  Grrrrr.

Just curious, but do they have to go to Turkey? Could we write something inspired by the flag or some other aspect explained in the article?

That sounds like a creative way to interpret the prompt, so I say go for it.
