Hello everyone! Let's pretend it's still the first of the month, okay? Probably somewhere it still is, so I'm not totally late with this. *g*

Write a 1000+ word story. This should be a complete story, rather than a part of a larger piece, however, it can be original or fan fiction. This time around I want you to write the story that happens in a dream. Otherwise you have free reign.

Entries will need to be received by midnight 31st October at GMT -12. We'll issue a closed post as we do with the weekly prompts.

When you post your entry, please tag it for the challenge.

You do not have to be a regularly contributing member of the community to participate. This challenge is optional and open to everyone.

You are allowed to use the monthly challenge in conjunction with any of the weekly prompts this month as long as you follow all the requirements for both. So, for this month, you would:
- Include the weekly prompt in your story
- It would be a stand-alone, a story of 1000 words or more happening in a dream
- It would be posted by the earlier of the two deadlines (midnight Saturday, or midnight on the 31st).

Is a frame plot allowed?

E.g. A goes through this and that. Then A falls asleep. A long dream ... Then A wakes up and knows what to do...

Yep. We are quite lenient with interpretation. As long as the dream is part of the story, it's okay.
