Very interesting backstory. I assume that Sylvie's sword is the one Caedmon was carrying after Daegal's death.

"Memories of youth were priceless in old age." I read the story for the first time yesterday, and this line kept going around in my head all evening.

I'm as eager as Sylvie' to find out what Riamon is going to tell her and Kincaid.

Sorry, no blinding insights this week, but I will definitely be looking forward to the next chapter.

Okay, I'm hooked already.
I really want to know what Riamon has to tell and where it will lead Sylvie.
Her father must have been quite a seer, to have a name, as well as a picture of the sword.
And there were names in that first part that I think reoccur through time. *sits back to wait, patiently*
