Hey Tamers, it's one of your friendly neighbourhood mods, Xocoatl, here with some news.

As many of you many have noticed, we are a bit behind on the awards. RL sucks monkey balls. That being said, I am currently working on getting us caught back up, but it will take time. To help me along, I ask that everyone heads back through their posts and makes sure all your posts are tagged with your name-tag and the prompt-tag. That'll make it go a lot faster.

Once I get the tracking done, I'll start the awards, which will flood out ^-^

If anyone doesn't have a tag, just leave a comment here (under the tag comment) and I'll get on it asap.

I also have a poll for you ^-^

[Poll #1673187]

I'm not quite certain how you'll earn them yet, or if it'll go over with everyone, but if you have an idea comment on the Skips comment below.

Hmmm, I think that might be all for now.

*heads back to the tracking*

Extra challenges like the monthly challenges, or writing two fics one week earns you a skip. Even something like after so many weeks of writing you get a skip.

Helping the mods with bookkeeping earns a skip.

I love the suggestions brought up thus far. Another idea: exceeding a certain number of words in a week or month could earn you a skip.

I know I'm not actively posting here any more, but I'm still using this community as inspiration for my original works. I'm keeping track of my progress privately and awarding myself accordingly. I hope that's okay with the mods?

Question re: Awards

This might seem like a daft question, so feel free to slap me verbally around the head!!

Do I get an award for each level I have hit, or just one when I stop for however high I've managed to get?

Yeah I think I get it - when I stop, the number of weeks I've done determines what level of award I get until I hit 30 weeks when I'm a Goddess (whoo hoo!!) After that, I can cash in at various points or just keep going, picking up awards at specific points. And of course, now I need to see just how far away I am from 30 weeks!!

Thanks honey xx

Maybe skips for reviews?

Maybe you could earn skips if you write a certain number of words in an entry before, like a 1000 words or more in an entry.

Well guess I would be the minority here. LOL I'd just say I don't think word count should get a skip. Over my 4 yr run I many times filled prompt with 6000-8000 word fics. I don't know, could be the comm is just evolving to the members which isn't a bad thing. I'm honestly not for the skips at all being as it kinda diminishes the awards people before have earned. Though were I to vote I would say no more than one a year and maybe you double up a prompt?

Anyway, just saw the post and thought I'd comment. Just my 2 cents.
