Okay, even if you areN'T a writer, PLEASE vote. You can vote for one story without voting on the rest, and no one sees how YOU voted. (Authors just see that three people ranked them at an 8 and one at a 7). Even if a writer doesn't get comments, it always helps to know that someone is reading. The standards for voting are....

5 - Really bad
6 - Has potential but needs serious work
7 - Flawed but you enjoyed it
8 - Solid story that kept your interest throughout
9 - Great, and you're going to go rec it to someone
10 - WOW! This story is perfect. We want to recommend it to friends, read it again, and save it to the computer just in case LJ dies and takes the story with it.
