Work project is over, and I'm back. I know I missed member update last week, so I'll get that caught up too. And the work for the week is quite the pain in the ass...

so it's all done and in and now I can breathe without feeling like I've just lost three seconds of work time!

I'm so sorry but also empathetic. My husband actually left town with all of the girls this weekend so I could get caught up on work. I've come home in tears almost every day for two weeks with being so far behind... and it's not like I can ask the provost to delay the end of the semester just because I can't get my ass in gear!

Yeah, when you really don't have any control over the deadline, it can get incredibly stressful. I'm so sorry you've been having a hard time. I hope the family-free time helped you get caught up.

*grins* I did get caught up. Barely. So, I start this week dead even. Not ahead, but even. That's good. I lots of writing done. So, all's well. Still, I'll be very happy when the semester's over, and I resolutely refuse to look at June-December when I have essentially no break and four new preps.
