Prompt #316 Redo and Modly Comment

Due to the confusion surrounding the prompt and the number of messages I've gotten (just gotten for those wondering why I haven't answered yet), I've decided to change this week's prompt.

Before I do though, I want to explain one thing. As mods, we don't choose the prompt. I know some think we do, but it is a random process. I hit a button and the prompt that lands on top is that week's prompt. The only time a prompt is chosen by someone, is when an author reaches that milestone. In addition, those who have reached the appropriate milestones of their own, have added to the generator over the years. I have no control over what they choose as the prompts to add. The original generator was created by our talented lit_gal and added to numerous times over the past 4+ years of the comm. That means, there are a lot of strange and difficult prompts in there. And there have been in the past too. Just check out the tag page.

It's 2:30am, I'm beyond tired and starting to ramble, so I'll just leave you with the new prompt:

Oh, I was very much aware that the prompts were chosen from a pool. I wasn't suggesting that you or your fellows had done anything to influence that. My comments were based on the idea that there might be some Q.C. of the prompts before they joined the pool. A number of them have been quite confounding.

Thank you for giving this your attention. And bless you for the new prompt. The previous one came close to choking Google. Assigning something like that to a character while keeping them in character would've been a bear.

I kinda liked the old prompt, I can't lie.

I've now lost the spelling of it, does someone have it? I'd like to work it into this week's story alongside the new prompt.

Thanks! Spelling is not my strong suit, and randomly Googleing "mental breakdown from intoxication" and variations thereof was not very successful! I think I can get this and the new prompt in there, somehow!
