Talk about cutting it close; it's ten where I'm at on the east coast, so I'm just squeezing this in.

Title: Her Saving Grace
Rating: R
Pairing: Spike/Fred, mentions slight Fred/Wesley
Spoilers: Angel S5
Chapter: One of ?
Prompt: #16 of [livejournal.com profile] tamingthemuse: Trail of Breadcrumbs
Warnings: Character death (not the permanent variety)
Summary: An accident one night changes Fred's entire world. Shunned by the people who should care the most, she turns to the one person who does care, and finds something beyond friendship.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Seriously. Not even my mind these days.

If there's anything wrong with the chapter, please let me know. I can't even really see the screen at this point, I'm so not awake. Just give me a holler? I'll try to be better with feedback, I promise. I'm so sorry to everyone who's commented on my previous things and hasn't gotten a response; I've read them, and they mean a lot to me.

[livejournal.com profile] piksa, have I thanked you lately? It's so nice to have everything tagged, even when I forget to tag my own dang entry, so thank you for that help.

The folks with the banner problems. The issue is one with Internet Explorer. It will not read the CSS code... either the automatically generated code or any coding I do by hand (and let me tell you, I *hate* CSS coding by hand because I don't know how to do it so I sit here with a CSS manual in one window and the journal management window in the other). Did the last banner have the same problem or is this a new thing it's just started doing? We may have to switch to another layout.

And finally, the new prompt. Man, no WAY can I fit this in my current WIP, so I'm going to have a chunk of writing to do this week.

Wow… rough week. We lost so many *sob.* We lost [livejournal.com profile] apsik and [livejournal.com profile] shadow_in_eden and [livejournal.com profile] strickens_girl. And because they'd all recently restarted their runs, we don't have any awards in the group. We do have reason to celebrate though. Welcome back [livejournal.com profile] articulatedream and [livejournal.com profile] frk_werewolf

Wow… did any of you think we'd make it to week 17? Well, we have, and here's the week 16 list of story link and voting.
