Summary: So what the heck is it?.
"So, what the hell is it?"
Two dark heads and a blond turn away from the sculpture they had been staring at for the past ten minutes to look at their drunk friend.
The redhead male lowers his drink -was that his fifth - beer and shrugs. "What? You were all thinking it?
A dark headed girl moves away from the group, crossing her arms as she glares at her boyfriend through her thick boxy frames. "No." she says stretching the 'o'. "We weren't." She waves a hand towards the statue. "Its obvious what it is?"
"Not really, Sam." The dark haired male says from her left. He rubs a hand along his jaw as he turns back towards the statue. "That doesn't look like any maiden I've ever seen."
Sam huffs out a loud breath. "Of course its a maiden." She moves closer to the statue, placing her hands close to the top. "Here is her head. And right here." She points at the knobby area under the almost stick like neck, "Are her breast."
The blonde raises an eyebrow, "My breast never looks like that?"
"Janice," the redhead leers, "No one's breast look like yours."
Sam cuts her eyes to the redhead. "And if you keep talking like that Tim, the only breasts you'll be seeing for a while will only be on television."
Tim stares towards the ceiling before looking back at his friend pleadingly. "Do you see what I have to put up with, Dave."
Dave snickers, "Maybe you should keep thoughts like that in your head, bro?"
Tim's lips lift to a smirk. "Nah, Sam wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't being a horndog."
Sam gives another snort which causes the group to laugh.
"But seriously," Dave says after he calms down, "I don't see a girl in that thing. Heck, its hard to picture that even being human."
Janice shakes her head in agreement, "Yeah. If I tilt my head, I can see a giraffe." She smirks, "A giraffe with a tumor."
Tim coughs loudly as he tries to cover a laugh.
Sam hits him loudly on the shoulder.
Tim grabs his arms, with faux pain, "Abuse."
Sam just rolls her eyes, "Whatever." Then turns her head towards her friends, "Haven't you heard of abstract art."
"I think it takes more skill to you know.." Dave pauses tilting his head to the side, "maybe recreate the actual subject than this 'lets make a lot of shapes and I'll tell you what it is."
Sam's lips curl. "My art is not bad."
"Not bad." Janice says, "But definitely, not for me."
Tim leans forward, wrapping an arm around both her shoulders and leaning forward. "It's okay honey. I still love you." He nods towards the statue. "Even with your abusive habits and bad taste in home decor. At least you can cook."
Dave and Janice giggle as Sam makes a loud noise of disgust.
"Hey, a man's got to eat."
