Artemis Rain gets the award for coming closest to the deadline. Whoa, babe. Hopefully this prompt will cause less last minute panicitis. Once again, a mangled saying has floated to the top.
Though not sure I can do this week either since last week of school and MAJOR last minute panicitis. Plus next-next monday is a finale exam. *Gulp* 4 hours. Yay. One hour written and three for a umh hands-on thing.
Yikes on that prompt. Uh. Okay, well, I'll see what I can do. I don't see that being Hired Man. I was going to try to do something about Seven though...
Ha! Thanks a lot! Once again, I barely made it in time! (I really need to get one of those not-so-busy lives. You happen to know if there are any up for grabs? On Ebay maybe?)
I think this prompt will be a lot easier. I'm already toying with a couple of ideas, so at least I won't spend Saturday night trying to come up with something AND writing it in the space of a few hours. :D
I really like these mangled sayings. usually have fun with them. my only problem is usually that I don't know how the real saying goes. I wouldn't even know these sayings were mangled if I hadn't been told so. once more one of the sides of being a non-native speaker *g*
Again a busy week. Hopefully will find time to write...

I don't know if that helps or not, but this comm is certainly giving you a lesson or two in colloquial English, isn't it?
