Title: Even Feminists Get Old
Author: Lit Gal
Prompt: Argos
Fandom: None
Warnings: Oddness
Rated: Safe

The CI muse says she doesn't want to put Argos in there.  Besides, this cranky, old woman kept butting her head in there.

Stupid as it sounds, I half expected to die that weekend. Of course, I didn't, but it would have fit in some weird, post-modern, Woody Allen sort of way.

ORIGINAL STORY REMOVED

I love you!

That was AWESOME! I love Ethan's mother! (I'd've wanted the raunchy book too....)

I love this lady. But nope, I'm old; therefore, I get yarn. I was considering inappropriate uses for variegated string when I looked up. *laughs*

But she's bitter too, and that's sad - So, I invented one for their benefit.. *sigh* My mind is whirling off thinking about obsession with ideology and what that does to your life and the lives of those around you. How political symbology distorts your vision of the normal and everyday. But also, how very necessary it is to see those things, because without the insights they provide, and the energy of the believers, we'd still be relegated full time to the kitchen and the nursery.

This story is beautifully complex and has so many levels. It makes me sad and grateful and (thinking about Ethan and Darla) somewhat worried about the future. Very well done.

Question - breathe from the diagram should that be diaphragm?

See when I get to a rest home I want to be that crotchety but with less of the intellect stuff...
I liked her for all that.

Well built character. She is great. I hope I am that crotchety when I get to be an elder. Enjoyable slip into someone else's life.

Lovely and sad and gutsy for its honesty. I like this old woman, although I do hope I don't become that bitter... later. Hell, I'm probably that bitter now. *g*

"I see me every morning," I shrugged. "It's not such a big deal." Ouch....

That was so damn sharp I feel like I could slice myself open on it. Lovely, glittering and scary as hell - just like the academic I imagine she once was in her life and still is in her head.

"Luckily for me, the universe isn't that tidy." Again I say....Ouch.
