Summary/time line: Alternate Reality, set sometime during the trio’s 6th or 7th year. What’s all AR about this? James Potter survived the night Voldemort killed Lily and tried to kill Harry. Since James was there to say that Sirius wasn’t their secret keeper, he didn’t go to Azkaban…

Summary: James has raised his son and continued along with Sirius, Remus, the Weasleys, and other members of the Order of the Phoenix to oppose the Death Eaters and see that the world is safe for their children.
Pairings: Remus/James (past), Remus/Hermione/James, possible other permutations of the previous, Ginny/Neville
Final Notes: (sorry, this is a bit of a complicated setup, after all) Each chapter except the first alternates time periods. Evens are the past, Odds are trio-era. Eventually they will meet up with each other.
