Summary: Anna is starting to remember the pasts and there are some things she would have rather forgotten forever.

The room was dimly lit by the rays of the sun piercing through the curtains. Anna was lying on the bed, waiting for the hottest hours of the day to pass. She opened her eyes as she heard the steps creaking. She thought it was strange that they should be noisy. They were new, it was old houses that were supposed to be filled with a secret life.

Agathe stepped into the room and took her t-shirt off, disregarding it on the floor, before dropping on the bed next to Anna. The mattress bounced slightly at the shock and Anna rolled to the side. She watched Agathe stretch, her upper body being revealed slowly before her eyes. She closed her hand into a fist and closed her eyes again.

As the strange light darkness fell on her once more, she felt Agathe's hands brushing against her fist, slowly opening it. Anna didn't resist. A kiss was placed on her palm. She opened her eyes. Agathe was looking at her tenderly, almost expectantly. She took Anna's hand and placed it on her back. Anna shivered at the touch of Agathe's naked skin. She closed her eyes for a second, focusing entirely on the warmth under her palm. Before she could open her eyes again, Agathe's lips were on hers and without noticing Anna moved her body against Agathe's.

The kiss was slow and gentle, their lips caressing each others in a tentative movement. Anna broke away as Agathe tried to ask for more.

"It's okay Anna," she whispered. She pulled Anna's head down, resting it on her shoulder.

Anna kept her eyes closed. She wanted more but she didn't know how to ask for it. Everything was so new, her memories juggling through her head to find back their space, and she was afraid. It was all to sudden, so violent and unexpected. She had lived a normal life until a week ago and she had been happy, carefree. She tighten her embrace against Agathe's body, bringing her ever closer. She wanted to shed her t-shirt, to feel Agathe's skin against her own. She squeezed her eyelid, making all the light disappear for a second. As she opened them slowly, she was faced with Agathe's naked shoulder. She didn't think. She kissed the exposed skin tentatively. Agathe shifted against her, lowering herself to face Anna. She stared at her, as if asking if she was alright. Anna didn't let her utter any word and placed her mouth against hers, her lips demanding more than a simple caress.

"Anna," she heard as their lips parted. "We don't have to," she said her voice full of concern.

Anna simply looked at her and pulled her t-shirt off. She pressed her body against Agathe, a deep moan escaping both of them at the touch. Agathe found Anna's mouth and kissed her tenderly, her hands exploring her back, trying to bring her closer still.

As she reached her lower back, Agathe's hand slowed down and paused on the remain of a scar. As their lips parted, Agathe gently turned Anna on her stomach and started to kiss her back.

"How did you come about this scar," she asked in between kisses.

"I can't remember," whispered Anna, unable to speak louder as her body gave itself entirely to Agathe's touch.

Agathe frowned slightly. "It is a big scar to forget."

"I know." She paused as she rolled on her back and pressed her lips to Agathe's shoulder. "It's always been there." As she said the words, she could picture herself hitting a wall and a pain suddenly jerked alive in her scar. She screamed.

"What's wrong?" Agathe took Anna's shoulders and stared into her eyes.

Tears were rolling down Anna's eyes. "I remember she said," her lips trembling at the memory of the pain she had felt, and her eyes pleading Agathe to remember to.

"You mean...," Agathe started tentatively. "It's not..."

Anne nodded.

"Oh sweetheart, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I asked." She pulled Anna against her and rocker her gently in her arms. "It's not going to happen this time, not here, not now."

Anna let her tears flow as she remembered the attack more than a century ago, as she remember the flaming pain of the knife in her back engulfing her legs into oblivion.
