We should all be caught up now. Sorry about that, I've been dealing with some RL things. I'll be passing on who needs awards to [livejournal.com profile] catw00man and she'll have those up within the next week or so.

Okay, clearly, I'm not quite getting how this comm works. I wrote for both challenges #392 hinterlands #393 overwhelmed. I notice now that there was eight days between the posts, though, so I'm guessing that's why I'm being said to have left one week after? I thought as long as we didn't miss a challenge we were good; I guess not.

I'm sorry. I've recently had to fly out of state to deal with a family situation and I'm still getting back on top of things. That was an oversight of mine and I'll go correct it shortly.

Ah, thank you! I totally understand it being a glitch, but I'm kind of glad it happened in a way because I'm still trying to get used to this comm and wasn't going to bother anybody with questions. So I am right then, as long as I fill one challenge and then fill the next, I wouldn't be missing a week in between even though, like with this one, there was actually eight days apart instead of seven?

(I actually didn't realize it was eight until I went to check to make sure I hadn't forgotten to post my Charmed ficlet for overwhelmed.)

Also, I noticed we had four challenges close today, so what is the actual deadline on challenges? Or was that because you weren't able to take care of them when you normally would?

My heart goes out to you and yours. I totally get dealing with family situations and hope all is better now.

Yes, you're correct in that if you fill the prompt each week you won't be counted as missing a week even if sometimes the prompt closings are greater than a strict 7-8 days.

The deadline on the challenges is 11:59p.m. Saturday in the latest time zone which amounts to Sunday at 4a.m. Pacific Time/7a.m. Eastern Time. Essentially, I close the prompts when I wake up on Sunday morning.

Thank you.
