As some of you may know, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo or NaNo) is just around the corner.

For those not in the know: NaNo is a yearly writing challenge that happens during the Month of November. The goal of NaNo is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30days. Put away the skeptical looks, it is possible. For those interested, the FAQS are here and will help.

There are forums where you can connect with people in your region, genre, age group, etc. With that in mind, I created a post for those of us taking part in NaNo to come together. It's here.

If anyone has joined or plans to join, I'm Xocoatldreams and will accept any writing buddy.

And yes, you can definitely use the Taming prompts to further your NaNo project. If you would rather keep it locked down, just post it to your own journal and lock it there, post the link here at tamingthemuse, and make sure that one of the mods or the main mod journal (tamingmods) is friended. Simple.

I friended the tamingmod's journal so I can use the prompts in my Nano story, if I choose to that is. I just want to let you know, so I'm friended back.
