Okay, "Cry Havoc" is *over* and this week's prompt is

Hello Darkness my old Friend

But wait, that's not all. Our prompt for next week, for those who choose to work ahead is...

St. Peter.
Yep, the guy of the golden gate of heaven.

Hello! I'm not new to the community, but I am a new (soon to be) participant and I have a question. I've checked the rules and read through a few fics (many, actually, but just a few since I realized I had a question) and I was wondering how exactly the prompt has to be used to count.

Does it need to be a verbatim use of the prompt? So that the words "Hello Darkness my old Friend" appear in the fic somewhere? Or can the fic be inspired in theme/tone/etc. by the prompt without actually using it verbatim?

Sorry if this is obvious and I'm missing it, but I don't want to screw up my first post! *lol*

Thank you! I appreciate the quick response, especially as that means that I will be finished with this fic that much sooner. Wheee!
