I'm still horribly confused by those awards. Does anyone have one yet? I haven't seen them awarded, except sometimes you say people get them when they stop posting.

Oh, well, I just show up, plug in my time card, and hope its enough. ^_^

The way it works is like a ladder. The higher you get, the higher the award you qualify for. When you fall off that there ladder, I'll give you the highest award you qualified for. So, when you have enough stories in to get the award you want... you just don't post a story for the next prompt. I'm going for either Melpomene or Polyhymnia. So, when I get up to week 16-17-18, I'll have to make a decision about when to skip a week so I can collect the award I want. Right now, you have five weeks in, so if you stop now, I"ll make you a Calliope award. If you do this week (story #6) and *then* stop, I'll make you a Clio award. If you go for 17 weeks before skipping a week, I'll make you a Melpomene award. See... clear as mud.

Oh. I get it now! So you decide what you want (which is cool and sort of part of the motivation thing of bringing it weekly, right) depending on how well you maintain your standard of story telling. Yeah, okay. It takes a while sometimes for me to understand stuff. I'll just do the prompts and keep plugging away.

Thanks kinda what I'm doing. I came close to missing once already, so the truth is, I"ll probably just fall off the dang ladder at some point rather than choosing to step off to get the award.
